2013 Senior Tournament entry forms to be mailed on May 30

This year’s tournament in Missoula promised to be competitive and fun.  It also should have a full field of players, which means it’s important for members to return tournament entry forms right away.

Seniors wanting to participate must be members to get an application when they are mailed out on May 30.  The tournament usually has a full field by mid-June.  The Membership page on this site has a membership application form.  Membership forms are usually available at local golf courses across the state.

Verifiable handicaps required

In addition to MSSGA membership, tournament players must have a verifiable handicap.

We recommend Montana State Golf Assn. (MSGA) handicaps which come with a MSGA membership.  The MSGA provides an easy way to record your scores and maintain an up-to-date handicap

Also, your MSGA membership helps support a variety of golf activities in Montana, including the Men’s, Women’s and Junior State amateur tournaments, plus a variety of junior golf activities across the state.

Contact your local course for MSGA handicap/membership information, or go online to msgagolf.org.

The modest handicap/membership fee benefits a sport we all love.

The MSSGA is seeking tournament and association sponsorships.  Inquiries should be directed to Russ Cravens, MSSGA Exec. Dir., 406-461-3472.
